DBE Company Profiles Dear Prime Contractor, A new feature has been added to the Alabama Department of Transportation’s (ALDOT’s) website, www.dot.state.al.us (link) and to the Alabama Road Builders Association’s (ARBA’s) website, www.alrba.org (link). Prime contractors can use the DBE Extended Company Profiles link (link) in the DBE Program section to access a search screen that is designed to aid prime contractors with the task of subcontractor selection. Same link can be found on the front page of the ARBA website. A prime contractor will be provided with the opportunity to search for a subcontractor from a database of companies available to partner on ALDOT’s projects. This feature will make finding a suitable subcontractor faster and easier. In order to make this information available only to prime contractors, this website was secured with a user name and a password. User Name: prime Password: prime All subcontractors listed will be Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) certified with ALDOT. As a prime contractor, you will be able to search the database for a subcontractor by specialization and equipment. This tool will eliminate the need to search through hundreds of companies to find the best subcontractor and will give you the opportunity build profitable relationships with new partners.
